Lead Teacher Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities using our Wonder of Learning® curriculum
• Create a fun, safe, and nurturing Preschool/Pre-K classroom environment
• Encourage curiosity, independence, creativity, and kindergarten readiness
• Build strong relationships with families through positive and professional communication
• Share daily updates, developmental progress, and classroom highlights
• Observe, assess, and document children’s learning and developmental milestones
• Maintain health and safety standards and ensure active supervision during all activities
• Work closely with Assistant Teachers and support staff to create a positive and collaborative classroom culture
• Model positive behavior guidance and social-emotional learning strategies
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to continue growing as an educator

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
• CDA preferred
• 1–2 years of experience in a licensed childcare center or preschool preferred
• Completion of state-required pre-service training
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and team members
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children

Compensation: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
