Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Lead Teacher – Early Childhood Education
The Learning Experience – Worcester is seeking an experienced Lead Teacher to join our growing team. We're looking for a Massachusetts EEC Certified educator who can confidently lead a classroom, mentor assistant teachers, and create engaging learning experiences for young children.
Whether working with infants, toddlers, or preschoolers, you'll help build a positive classroom culture where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn every day.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of daily classroom instruction and management
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences using The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Foster children's cognitive, language, physical, and social-emotional development
- Mentor and support Assistant Teachers while promoting teamwork and collaboration
- Build strong relationships with children and families through consistent communication
- Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Ensure compliance with all Massachusetts EEC licensing regulations and health and safety standards
Qualifications

Massachusetts EEC Teacher Certification required
- Previous experience serving as a Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare or preschool setting preferred
- Strong classroom management, leadership, and communication skills
- Passion for early childhood education and child development
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
