We are seeking a Lead Tax Technology Specialist to join our Bosch North America Tax Department. The
collaborative, inquisitive and highly motivated member of our regional / global Process, Projects and IT team will be responsible for optimizing technology, process, and project management methods to ensure effective and efficient tax operations, tax risk management and tax governance functions.
Major responsibilities include:
• Lead or key team member of cross-functional, regional, and global tax projects and initiatives including but not
limited to tax systems, business systems tax legal requirements, automation, efficiency, communications
• Interface between tax governance user departments and central process development teams, e.g. IT, process
owner and manager
• Lead or key team member of ww topics including applications and technology; access and identity management;
data protection; and information security
• Lead trainings for enabling tax teams with digital know-how and evolving trends in tax technology
• Lead or key team member in the functional collection, documentation, fit gap analysis, design, development,
configuration, testing, migration, go-live, stabilization, and defect resolution of new/upgraded tax systems.
• Lead or key team member responsible to train, develop training materials, and communicate tax systems
requirements, processes, and procedures to tax and other key users / stakeholders
• Lead or key team member of customer engagement initiatives and co-innovations with tax system vendors and/or SAP for NA region and global digital tax solutions
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Management, Accounting, Finance, or Master's
Degree
• 5+ years in a national/regional/global corporate, tax, accounting and/or business systems environment
• 3+ years project / process management experience
• 3+ years E2E process understanding and experience with ERP system SAP - SD MM FI and related modules;
including SAP S/4 Integration Suite
and indirect tax systems (i.e., Vertex O Series)
• 2+ years of experience with automation, data analytic, and GenAI tools (i.e., Power BI, Alteryx, Power Apps,
Microsoft GPT)
• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
Preferred
• Strong organization, communication (speaking/listening), and presentation skills
• US, Mexican and Canadian tax and accounting experience
• Experience working in a global team environment
• PMP certification
• Vertex certification
