Our award-winning client is seeking a Lead Systems engineer to join their team! In this key role, you'll leverage your expertise to design, develop, and implement complex systems solutions. You'll also play a pivotal role in mentoring and guiding junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, and implement innovative systems solutions across various engineering disciplines.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical alignment and project success.
Analyze complex technical problems, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective solutions.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and development.
Document technical solutions and maintain clear and concise engineering documentation.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (preferred), or Bachelor's degree with significant experience.
5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a proven track record of successful project completion.
Strong understanding of system design principles, system architecture, and integration methodologies.
Proficiency in programming languages relevant to the role (e.g., Python, C++).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
Passion for mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
Bonus Points:
Experience in the aerospace or defense industry (a plus).
Experience with specific engineering tools or technologies relevant to our projects (please specify in your application).
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
