The primary purpose of the position is to lead a team of Surgical Technologists with training and functionality associated with complex operating room equipment and instrumentation and to provide assistance to the surgeon and other team members during surgical procedures. The Lead Surgical Technician participates with the surgical team members in planning and implementing complex procedures under the general supervision of the surgical teams.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. High school graduate.
2. Surgical Technology School graduate.
3. Must have a current BCLS.
4. Must have a National Surgical Technologist Certificate.
5. Demonstrated proficient level of Open Heart, Orthopedics, Neuro/Spine Surgical Specialities
6-Hospital Health Care System.
