Mpower is seeking an experienced and capable Lead Support Worker to join our growing Residential Care team in a part-time capacity. Mpower is a well-established, accredited not-for-profit community-based organisation
servicing South West Victoria. Established in 1975, the operation of Mpower has
grown from a small voluntary service to an accredited agency employing more
than 100 staff, providing a range of clinical and support services to over 1400
families regionally. Mpower now provides a range of disability services and
community services and we specialising in supporting children, young people and
families reaching their full potential.
About the Role
As a Lead Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading and supporting shifts within our Residential Care program. You will provide hands-on leadership, guide Support Workers, assist with decision-making, and model best practice in therapeutic and trauma-informed care.
Working with children and young people who may present with complex needs and behaviours, you will help create a safe, stable and nurturing home environment while supporting the development of life skills, independence and positive outcomes.
This role operates across a 24/7 roster, and may include sleepovers, active nights, weekends,
and public holidays.
