He aha te tūranga - About the role:

Our telecare team have an exciting opportunity for a confident, tech-savvy and multi-tasking support representative to join them. The role is permanent, full time (40 hours per week), working rotational shift patterns between the hours of 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

We are looking for the someone to help focus on overall customer growth within our telecare area, with the purpose of attracting new customers, through education and promoting the benefits of a St John Medical Alarm. This includes supporting new customer acquisition referrals, by providing accurate information on all Telecare products, services and supporting the Telecare Field Support Representatives as required. 

Support sales and activity target through effective promotion of Telecare products by building and maintaining positive and productive relationships with customers, external stakeholders, and the community.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a customer contact role and passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the New Zealand Health and social care environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A "Can do" attitude focused on achieving results and doing what is required to achieve success.
  • The ability to work in a high paced and changing environment.
  • Demonstrable personal commitment to and promotion of St John Core Values.

The most important attributes we are looking for is attitude and the willingness to learn. We will develop the right person who has the desire to work with purpose.
