Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Production Supervising
- Supervising Production Area in term of Productivity, Yield, Customers complain, OTD & Labor cost rate:
- Daily planning resource and control to meet OTD, Yield, Productivity and labour cost rate
- Daily cooperate to other function ENG, PPM, PIC, QA to resolve daily issue.
- Ensure all production standards control plan is compiled as Quality, EHS …
- Be able to use analytical trouble -shouting techniques to solve problems.
- Lead and/or participates in resolutions or problem (4M1E).
- Lead the team to join the training and qualification for new products transferring if needed.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of department objectives
- Quality Control
- Check and ensure that the operators follow procedures during operation for each workstation.
- Check ensure that parts within spec before delivery to next process step or shipment. Provide corrective action if escapping ppm to assembly is higher than target
- To control process as ISO requirements and make action taken for ISO, TS, customer audit
- Daily control yield to meet targets and check Nonconformance Pareto to provide proper corrective action
- To make sure that SPC is using efficient and corrective action on control chart is implemented properly
- To work with process engineer to analysis and reduce increase yield and reduce rework rate
- People Management

- Ensure the spirit and intent of all employment laws and regulations and II-VI and local HR policies and procedures are understood and complied with in your area.
- Cost Saving
- Improvement Project for cost saving and capability improvement.
- Develop alternative material, tooling, consumable, machine optimizing process to shorten cycle time
- Production Support
- Establish the SOP, WI and other documentation as required.
- Support new product acquisition.
- 6 S improvement in workplace.
- Work with others department to implement the company’s policies and goals.
Education & Experience
- Educational Background
- Engineering-related majors (Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or related degree), OR
- Management engineering-related majors: Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management.
- Working experience
- 5+ years of applicable experience in one or more of the fields of education listed above in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 1year of managerial or leadership experience is required.
- Experience establishing manufacturing operations, including assembly equipment development and procurement, facility setup, and employee training.
Skills
- Hands-on experience with precision assembly tools, calibrated equipment, fixtures, torque tools, adhesives, and precision measurement instruments.
- Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, height gauges, dial indicators, and other precision inspection tools.
- Experience with CMM inspection, precision metrology, optical measurement, interferometry, or other high-accuracy inspection methods is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and project management methodologies, including SPC, CP, Cpk, FMEA, and DMAIC, is an advantage. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, including the eight wastes, Lean tools, Kaizen, and 4M1E analysis, is an advantage.
- Data analysis and dashboard development skills are preferred, including proficiency in Microsoft Access, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams and achieve results through effective people management.
- Experience in process improvement, trouble shooting and equipment management.
- Hands on and very direct approach to problems and needs of production demand.
- Ability to anticipate and handle multiple priorities and complex/abstract issues involving external and internal priorities under time constraints.
- Handle special assignments promptly and professionally.
- Ability to excel in a cross-organizational, cross-cultural, global team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate people as well as training of operators.
- Ability to deal effectively with differences of opinion, to influence, to draw ideas from others, and to negotiate and mediate.
- Total Quality management experience
- Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, competency.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, assembly procedures, process-control documentation, inspection records, and metrology reports.
- Understanding of ESD control, contamination prevention, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Strong hands-on engineering mindset with the ability to work directly on the manufacturing floor.
- High attention to detail and commitment to process discipline and quality.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
