Our Contracts & Supply Chain organization is seeking a Lead, Subcontracts Management to support the Digital Sector, Defense & National Solutions (DNS) Business Area.
The Defense & National Solutions Business Area supports a diverse portfolio of programs and growth opportunities across the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and other federal customers. DNS delivers secure digital modernization, enterprise IT, cyber, mission software, infrastructure, and technology-enabled solutions that support critical customer missions and advance operational readiness.
This position will lead full life cycle (“cradle-to-grave”) subcontract management activities supporting primarily U.S. Government programs and proposals. The role is responsible for ensuring subcontracting activities comply with contractual requirements, Leidos policies and procedures, and applicable federal acquisition regulations.
The successful candidate will serve as a senior individual contributor within the Supply Chain organization and will routinely interface with program leadership, functional management, suppliers, and senior supplier executives. The candidate will be responsible for contractual management of complex subcontract agreements, frequently involving significant value, risk, visibility, or business complexity.
The role requires close partnership with Program Management, Contracts, Finance, Project Control, Growth, Legal, Small Business, and other functional organizations to develop subcontracting strategies and successfully execute program and proposal objectives.
The successful candidate must demonstrate sound business judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to independently manage competing priorities and complex subcontracting matters with minimal supervision. Although this is an individual contributor position, the candidate will be expected to demonstrate leadership within the organization, mentor junior personnel, and contribute to continuous improvement across the Supply Chain function.
A strong working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS and experience operating within a Government-approved purchasing system are essential. The candidate may also support subcontract file reviews and audits, CPSR readiness activities, organizational initiatives, and other special projects in addition to managing assigned programs and proposals.

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
