Job Description

You're passionate about a career delivering solutions that impact millions.

This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.

In this role, you'll:

Provide strategic leadership across one of Transport for NSW’s key traffic infrastructure asset portfolios. Operating as a lead specialist within a multi billion dollar traffic infrastructure asset base, you will foster a proactive, systems focused culture that anticipates risk, optimises performance, and strengthens the reliability and safety of the state’s road network.

Working to the relevant Asset Management Plans, you will oversee maintenance and capital works delivery for traffic infrastructure assets, embedding strong assurance frameworks and driving a more integrated, forward looking, and performance driven approach to network asset stewardship.

This a permanent role.

About you

You are a confident, strategic asset leader with experience managing complex traffic infrastructure portfolios in transport or large scale operational environments. You know how to lead at a system level, bringing together people, data, risk insights and operational realities to lift long term network performance.

Whether it’s traffic signals, controllers, roadside structures, safety devices or corridor wide traffic systems, you bring a portfolio mindset, seeing connections, anticipating risk and guiding decisions that optimise lifecycle outcomes.

You have strong knowledge of engineering standards, regulatory frameworks and asset management systems, including Australian Standards, road safety and compliance requirements, and ISO 55000 aligned practices that support effective traffic infrastructure stewardship.
