New Product Coordinator (NPC)

The Position:

The Instrumentation group is seeking a highly experienced New Product Coordinator (NPC) to support the development of new product solutions for next generation Consumer applications. The successful candidate, who will report to the Industrial PM0 team, will support New Product Development teams to coordinate all NPI aspects of New Product developments.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Working in parallel with the Project Managers to coordinate all NPC aspects of New Product developments
  • Liaison role between the Business Unit and manufacturing organizations.
  • Order all wafers required for development projects and monitor progress of wafers to ensure that required holds are in place and applied.
  • Ongoing status review of all WIP and Offshore Assemblies for evaluation, qualification, characterization, and stock, monitoring and reporting progress versus commits.
  • Expedite and monitor any material as required.
  • Create, review with team and submit PRIME and PROMIS applications and manufacturing interface forms for all projects.
  • Manage the disposition of Engineering WIP to manufacturing at time of release.
  • Identify process weaknesses which result in material delays, errors etc. and work to eliminate.
  • Maintain Milestone and Scorecard Databases, and WIP Status reports.
  • Create and maintain reports and databases to communicate project WIP information and status.
  • Support the Program Management team by gathering, analyzing, and reporting on project data.
  • Track project performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making and improve project delivery.
  • Oversee knowledge management coordination across the portfolio, enabling individual PMs to effectively track project time, resources, and costs.
  • Ensure that agreed project metrics and status are updated on a regular basis and available to the PM, in the form of presentations, charts, and Excel statistics, as required for project meetings and reviews.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate must be self-motivated, dynamic, meticulous, prepared to take the initiative, and possess the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical, management, or relevant discipline.
  • 7+ years’ experience in an NPC or planning role.
  • Strong Knowledge of MS Office Tools; proficient with Excel (pivot tables) and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong planning and coordination skills.
  • Ability to drive tasks to completion through close coordination with multiple groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm for collaboration and building strong, trusting relationships with colleagues across all levels and areas of the company.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Manufacturing Process, Scheduling & Quality Systems (PRIME, PROMIS, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of ADI NPI process
