This is your opportunity to broaden your experience and perspectives, step out of the confines of a standard project role and expand your scope to work with an interconnected ecosystem of industry professionals.

In this role, you'll:

encompassing critical roadside, tunnel, network management and digital transport technologies. Operating as a lead specialist within a multi billion dollar ITS asset base, you will foster a proactive, systems focused culture that anticipates risk, optimises performance, and strengthens the reliability of the state’s transport technology ecosystem.

Working to the relevant Asset Management Plans, you will oversee maintenance and capital works delivery for ITS equipment, embedding strong assurance frameworks and driving a more integrated, forward looking, and performance driven approach to technology asset stewardship.

This a permanent role.

About you

You will be a confident, strategic asset leader with experience shaping and stewarding complex technology enabled infrastructure portfolios, ideally within transport or large scale industrial environments. You understand how to lead at a system level, bringing together people, data, risk insights, and operational realities to drive long term performance of critical ITS assets.

Whether the assets are CCTV networks, VMS signs, roadside controllers, communications networks or tunnel systems you bring a portfolio mindset, seeing connections, anticipating risk, and guiding decisions that optimise lifecycle outcomes.

You bring strong knowledge of engineering standards, regulatory frameworks, and asset management systems, including familiarity with Australian Standards, cyber security obligations, and ISO 55000 aligned practices that underpin effective technology asset stewardship.
