Job Description

In this role, you'll:


Be responsible for managing the relationship with key industry partners and membership bodies. The role is also responsible for cross agency collaboration through inter government forums and manages, leads, and facilitates the engagement to drive high-level outcomes to support effective decision making and the implementation of key Transport and Government initiatives.

Act as the key interface for the Infrastructure Projects & Engineering division with industry partners, membership bodies and government agencies, driving strategic alignment between Transport and broader NSW Government initiatives while balancing priorities.



Develop and deliver a robust industry engagement program, consulting with and influencing internal and external stakeholders to understand sector challenges and opportunities and to drive effective, efficient program outcomes.

Lead and manage industry engagement activities and resources across forums and inter government groups to enable effective collaboration and information sharing.

Build strong, positive relationships with key stakeholders to support clear communication and seamless information flow and oversee engagement efforts that drive the achievement of strategic and operational objectives.

Permanent, fulltime opportunity | Home office 680 George St Sydney. Hybrid work arrangements, team anchor days currently Monday and Thursday.

About you


You excel at managing sensitive relationships and reputational risk with industry partners, membership bodies and government agencies in a fast paced environment, navigating politically sensitive issues with discretion, probity and sound judgment. You demonstrate expertise in:

• The development, delivery and facilitation of industry engagement programs.


• Knowledge and understanding of industry affairs, relevant legislation, policies, and processes applicable to the machinery of Government.


• Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant and equivalent professional experience.
