Get to know the Role:

The Lead Specialist - Daily Banking, Ecosystem and Engagement is responsible for transforming our digital banks into the primary financial hub for customers across Singapore and Malaysia. You will lead the strategy to drive daily active usage, deepen product penetration through cross-selling, and build a defensible "ecosystem moat" by leveraging our unique partnerships and our proprietary engagement platform.

The Day-to-Day Activities:

1. Core Banking Strategy: The "Primary Bank" Mission

  • Salary & Everyday Banking: Design and execute the regional "Primary Bank" roadmap, focusing on making our account the go-to for salary crediting and daily transactional needs.
  • CASA Stickiness: Implement strategies to increase the "stickiness" of deposits, ensuring customers don't just park cash but actively use it as their main operating account.

2. Platform Leadership: Odyssey Engagement Hub

  • Product Vision: Act as the business owner for Odyssey , our in-house loyalty and engagement platform. Prioritize the feature roadmap across all verticals (Deposits, Payments, Lending, Invest).
  • Cross-Vertical Synergy: Ensure Odyssey effectively evolves to influence users from a single-product relationship into a multi-product ecosystem.
  • Campaign management Actively plan and execute cost optimised campaigns that both activate users, and deepen their engagement across products.

3. Performance & Growth (KPI Ownership)

  • Active User Growth: Hold end-to-end accountability for Monthly Engaged Users (MEU) and Monthly Transacting Users (MTU) across both markets.
  • Funnel Optimization: Continuously monitor marketing and product funnels. Identify drop-off points and work cross-functionally with Product and Data teams to "plug the gaps" and improve conversion rates.

4. Ecosystem & Partnership Management

  • Moat Creation: Ideate and execute "ecosystem-led" advantages that competitors (traditional or digital) cannot replicate. This includes deep integration with regional partners like Grab and Singtel.
  • Sponsorship & Funding: Identify and manage strategic partnerships with stakeholders in the value chain (e.g., PayNet) to secure co-funded campaigns and sponsorships.

5. Data-Driven Cross-Selling

  • Contextual Engagement: Develop a framework for "Smart Cross-Selling" that uses behavioural data to offer products (Lending, Insurance, Invest) at the exact moment of customer need.
  • Cost-Efficiency: Optimise the Cost-per-Acquisition (CPA) for cross-sold products by leveraging in-app channels and loyalty triggers over expensive external marketing.

The must haves:

  • Experience: 8-10 years in Digital Banking, FinTech, or high-growth Consumer Tech

  • Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Loyalty/CRM platforms, Payment systems, and Retail Banking products (Deposits/Lending).

  • Analytical Prowess: Proven ability to translate complex data (MAU/MTU/LTV) into actionable product strategies.

  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to manage C-suite stakeholders and external ecosystem partners (e.g., PayNet, Grab).

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: A builder’s mentality—comfortable navigating ambiguity and creating a "moat" from scratch.
