In this role, you'll:
Provide strategic leadership across one of Transport for NSW’s key asset portfolios: Fleet & Infrastructure or Maritime Fleet & Infrastructure. Operating as a lead specialist within a $6.4B asset portfolio, you will foster a proactive, systems focused culture that anticipates risk, optimises performance, and strengthens asset reliability.
Working to the relevant Asset Management Plans, you will oversee maintenance and capital works delivery, embedding strong assurance frameworks and driving a more integrated, forward looking, and performance driven approach to fleet and infrastructure stewardship.

About you
You will be a confident, strategic asset leader with experience shaping and stewarding complex infrastructure portfolios - ideally within transport, rail, defence, or mining/industrial environments. You understand how to lead at a system level, bringing together people, data, risk insights, and operational realities to drive long term asset performance.
Whether the assets are roadside structures, safety devices, bus fleet assets, depots, wharves, jetties, pontoons or boat ramps, you bring a portfolio mindset -seeing connections, anticipating risk, and guiding decisions that optimise lifecycle outcomes.
You bring strong knowledge of engineering standards, regulatory frameworks, and asset management systems, including familiarity with Australian Standards and ISO 55000 aligned practices.
