Responsible for leading sourcing, category management, supplier management, and commercial negotiations for equipment, materials, and services related to electrical substations. Ensures competitiveness, supply continuity, contract performance, and alignment with business objectives across the assigned region.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies for substation equipment, materials, and specialized services, aligned with business objectives and market dynamics;
  • Lead supplier and contractor management activities, including qualification support, performance monitoring, risk mitigation, and competitiveness improvement initiatives;
  • Conduct RFQs, evaluate proposals, lead commercial and contractual negotiations, and recommend sourcing decisions based on business requirements and Total Cost of Ownership principles;
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Logistics, Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams to ensure effective sourcing execution and stakeholder alignment;
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to sourcing processes, category governance, supplier performance, compliance, quality, and EHS requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Solid experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Category Management, Commodity Management, or Services Procurement;
  • Proven experience purchasing equipment and materials for electrical substations and contracting specialized substation services;
  • Strong experience with category strategy development, supplier and contractor management, commercial negotiations, and application of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) methodology;
  • Advanced English, advanced Spanish, availability to travel as required, and current residence in Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, or Venezuela.
