We are seeking data-minded, software engineering candidates to help enable collection and sharing of digital data. As a member of this team, you will help connect our digital experience data into the larger State Farm data ecosystem. With a focus on enabling a simplified, seamless, efficient, and personalized “omni-channel” customer experience across all internal and external State Farm interaction channels. This posting is for 3 software engineers in the Digital Insights enablement suite within Digital Experience. The primary role of the product suite is to ensure a user's digital journey is represented properly in data for reporting, analytics and optimization efforts. This position works horizontally across multiple product teams to enable collection of user experience data needed for analytic insights on product functionality. The product suite provides a great opportunity to learn about behavior analytics and building a comprehensive data trail of the journey for customers and associates, as well as exposure to many different applications and technologies used by various product teams in the organization. Our capabilities span many technologies including front end JavaScript, AWS services (Lambda, S3, SNS/SQS, ECS, Redis Cache), and APIs to enable the collection and exchange of data.
The ideal candidates will have an eagerness to work through product development during various stages of ambiguity/uncertainty. Applicants are required to have a creative mindset, innovative spirit, and a demonstrated ability to harness the possibilities of technology.
