As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Infrastructure Platforms, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product team to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Implement and configure ServiceNow functionalities, including employee self-service portals, and automated workflows.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and platforms as needed. Participate in troubleshooting and resolving various technical issues related to ServiceNow applications/ Custom processes.
  • Develop and implement various solutions for managing software product lifecycle events within ServiceNow. Customize and configure journey modules to align with organizational goals and employee needs.
  • Develop strategies for managing lifecycle events and employee journeys. Maintain and update ServiceNow configurations and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices and standards in ServiceNow development. Provide technical support to team members in resolving various issues

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 6+ years applied experience
  • This position requires experience with the following: ServiceNow platform, including its architecture, components, and capabilities; ServiceNow's scripting languages,
  • including JavaScript and Glide Scripts, for customization and automation; configuring and customizing applications to align with specific business requirements; integrating ServiceNow with other systems and tools,
  • such as Oracle; REST and SOAP APIs for seamless data exchange between systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency; designing intuitive, re-usable and user-friendly interfaces and portals for service delivery;
  • data within ServiceNow, including data import and export, data transformation, and data quality management; analyzing requirements including Service Configuration, Life Cycle Events, Journey Configuration,
  • Activities, Notification, and designing and developing scalable solutions; troubleshooting and resolving issues within the Service Delivery module, ensuring optimal performance.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study
