Job Description

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

H&M Group is seeking a highly skilled and forward‑thinking ServiceNow Platform Owner to provide end‑to‑end design leadership across our digital ecosystem. In this role, you will shape and govern the architecture for automation, integration, and platform engineering capabilities — with a particular focus on strengthening ServiceNow as a core enterprise platform, driving cross‑team collaboration, and uplifting our engineering foundations.

You will act as a technical leader, bringing a holistic understanding of H&M’s technical landscape and applying deep hands‑on expertise across DevOps, performance monitoring, scalable design, and multi-domain engineering, reflecting the expectations placed on H&M’s lead-level engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Strategy & Technical Leadership

  • Develop the long-term architectural roadmap aligned with H&M’s enterprise strategy.
  • Set architectural standards, patterns, and guardrails for scalable delivery and lead solution design for initiatives spanning multiple domains.
  • Guide technical decisions across teams and mentor engineers and architects.

ServiceNow Platform Ownership

  • Design enterprise-grade automations and workflows.
  • Standardize engineering practices across CI/CD, testing, modular architecture, and governance.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with cloud, data, and application platforms using scalable API and event-driven designs.

Engineering Foundations & Platform Excellence

  • Drive secure, resilient, and high‑performing engineering practices.
  • Strengthen DevOps maturity through CI/CD pipelines, observability, and operational readiness.
  • Promote cost‑optimized architecture and efficient use of cloud resources.

Performance, Security & Operations

  • Embed performance, security, and reliability requirements into designs.
  • Oversee release, change, and incident processes to ensure stable delivery.
  • Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies to strengthen H&M’s digital ecosystem.

WHO YOU ARE

We are looking for people with:

  • 12+ years in software engineering, enterprise architecture, or platform engineering.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow, cloud platforms, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Broad knowledge across frontend, backend, mobile, infrastructure, and DevOps.
  • Proven ability to design scalable systems and deliver high-impact platform solutions.

NICE TO HAVE

  • ServiceNow CIS–Data Foundations (CMDB & CSDM) certification.
  • Experience building custom applications and API integrations.
  • Strong ownership mindset, collaborative approach, and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and enabling teams through better architecture.
