Role Responsibilities
The Lead Software Engineerat Relativityplays a crucial role in the product development team, driving the direction of architecture, mentoring developers, and ensuring the overall quality and performance of the user interface.TheLead Software Engineeris responsible fordelivering results for theproductdevelopment department by:
Work with management to set and communicate team goals and vision aligned to business requirements
Ensure the team stays focused and delivers against the goals, adapting to changing business requirements
Provide input into system software architecture development and future initiatives by working with Staff, Principal Engineers, and Architects asrequired
Drive technical direction, planning, and effective solutionsin enterprise classsystem
Specify non-functional software requirements and analyze all requirements todeterminedesign feasibility within time and cost constraints to deliver quality software
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about complex issues.
Adoption ofAI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate development, reduce boilerplate, and focus on solving business-critical problems.
Lead and empower team to apply key design patterns, coding best practices, and methodologies.
Lead the test of software with traceability back to requirements emphasizing the practice of Test-Driven Design and the use of autonomous frameworks and Continuous Integration

Required Technical Skillsand Experience
Deep understanding of semantic HTML and modern CSS, including pre-processors like SASS or LESS.
Strongproficiencyin JavaScript, including ES6+ features and familiarity with TypeScript for large projects.
Extensive experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, Vue.js, Webpack 5 In-depth knowledge of state management libraries (likeRedux,MobX,Vuex) is also important.
Experience with RESTful APIs,GraphQLandknowledge of asynchronous programming, including Promises andasyncawait.Working mocks, mock API (for local developments or faster testing).
Experience in creating responsive designs that work across a wide range of devices and screen sizes.
Understanding of browser differences and experience with tools for cross-browser testing.
Required Experience
5-7+ years of experience in development, with at least 2-3 years in a lead role.
3 - 5+ years of experience in software development using C# andNet, or related object-oriented programming languages
Experience developing scalable solutions in Azure or other cloud platforms and building observable systems with SLA and SLOs defined.
Experience working on large-scale web applications orenterpriseplatforms.
Experience in leading projects from conception through to delivery.
A strong portfolioshowcasinga range of projects, particularly those where the candidate played a lead role in the development.
Desirable Additional Skillsand Experience
Understanding of backend technologies (Net, Node.js, Python, etc.) tofacilitatebetter collaboration with backend teams.
Experience or strong understanding of UI/UX principles can be anadditionaladvantage.
Familiarity with AI-driven solutions in UI/UX, such as AI-assisted user interactions, personalization, generative design tools, or adaptive interfaces
AI Integration, including hands-on experience integrating chatbots, recommendation systems, or computer vision models into UI/UX workflows.

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.
This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.
The expected salary range for this role is between following values:
270 000 and 406 000PLN
The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
