You will join a global leader in clinical diagnostics technology, working on advanced digital and cloud-based solutions that directly support critical healthcare systems used worldwide. In this role, you will lead the design and development of scalable, high-quality software systems that power cloud platforms used in medical diagnostics environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, architects, and domain experts to translate complex requirements into robust technical solutions. The environment is highly regulated, requiring strong attention to quality, compliance, and reliability in all stages of development. You will also contribute to prototyping innovative ideas, driving technical decisions, and improving engineering best practices across the team. This is a high-impact role where your work contributes directly to improving patient outcomes and enabling more efficient clinical decision-making at a global scale.

Accountabilities:

• Architect, design, develop, and test scalable software solutions for cloud-based digital platforms in a regulated healthcare environment.
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to system architecture decisions across frontend, backend, and cloud components.
• Investigate and resolve complex production issues by performing root cause analysis and driving long-term fixes.
• Build prototypes to validate design concepts and collaborate with product and engineering teams to refine solutions.
• Promote engineering best practices including code quality, testing, DevOps, and continuous integration and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards relevant to medical device software development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and clinical needs into technical implementations.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong expertise in Java/J2EE development.
• Strong experience in frontend development using modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Python or Shell scripting for automation and backend support.
• Solid understanding and experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems such as Git.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, and building cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of scalable system design and software engineering principles.
• Experience working in regulated environments (FDA/ISO 13485) is a strong advantage.
• Exposure to medical device software development and verification processes is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
