Compensation: USD 160,000 - 184,000 yearly
Ten Mile Square is looking for a talented and experienced Lead Software Engineer to lead a remote-first team of full-stack software engineers working in a complex enterprise environment. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can drive technical direction, maintain a high delivery bar, and operate effectively across architecture, product, and engineering stakeholders.
The initial assignment is to help lead the development and modernization of enterprise financial services platforms, including backend systems, federated GraphQL services, workflow-driven application components, and cloud-native infrastructure on AWS. The right candidate will combine strong software engineering depth with delivery accountability, sound technical judgment, and the ability to move work forward in messy, real-world environments.
Salary (Base + Target Bonus): $184K ($160K + $24K).
