The Lead Software Engineer will take an active part in various phases of Novacura Projects to meet Customer needs related to software. The Lead Software Engineer is expected to work proactively and give input and know-how to Customers and Novacura Business System Consultants when it comes to defining the best technical solutions for the overall successful Customer software solution.

Lead Software Engineers have a focus on Novacura Flow and IFS Development tools, including custom configurations, but works also with other related state of the art technologies supporting Novacura Flow and IFS Applications (e.g. .Net, IoT, ML, etc.). They have a general understanding of IFS Applications technology, specialized in one or two functional areas.

Lead Software Engineer is expected to actively support more junior colleagues and, to some extent, work independently helping customers building software solutions (e.g. Novacura Flow) from customer requirement and solution specification to quality assured solution put into operations.

About you

You should have a flexible mindset with an ability to manage several customers and tasks simultaneously, working in a team context and you are good at communicating. You have a proactive approach and are always eager to learn new things.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

• 6+ years of experience in developing IFS Cloud modifications.

• Previously worked as a consultant

• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL/, PL-SQL) and data structures.

• Hands-on experience with programming/scripting languages (e.g., C#, Java, JavaScript, Python).

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and integration frameworks.

• Understanding of ERP systems (preferably IFS Applications)

• An added advantage if you have basic functional knowledge in IFS Cloud Manufacturing, Configure to Order, Engineer to Order, or Asset Management solutions.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and in teams, with good communication skills.
