Job Title:ServiceNow Lead Software Engineer
We are seeking a skilled ServiceNowSeniorDeveloperto design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities, follow best practices, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions using best practices
Customize ServiceNow applications using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer
Develop and maintain ServiceNow modules such as ÏTSM, CSM,APO,MCO,FinanceManagement,Employee Centre.
Build and support integrationsusing REST, SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub
Create and manage Service Catalog items, workflows,FlowDesingerandETL,Integration Hub, DataFabric/Zero Copy Connectors
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of platform issues
Support platform upgrades, patches, and releases
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements
Follow SDLC, Agile/Scrum, and change management processes
Maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience
Strong experience with JavaScript,REST/SOAPAPIs and integrations
(server-side and client-side)
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform architecture
Experience with Finance Managementand MCOprocesses(Source-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash lifecycle,Accounts payable, Accounts receivable etc)
Familiarity with CMDB, Discovery, andITSM
Experience withotherApplication would be plus likeITOM, HRSD
Understanding of ACLs, roles, and security best practices
Experience working in Agile/Scrumenvironments
referred Qualifications
ServiceNow certifications such as:
Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Module-specific certifications (CSM,ITSM,MCOetc.)
Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting
Knowledge of UI Builder, Service Portal, and Workspace configuration
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and ATF (Automated Test Framework)
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong stakeholder management skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
Min7+ Years of experience in Servicenow
Nice to Have
Experience with cloud platforms(AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of ITIL processes
Experience supporting global enterprise environments
