Job Description

Lead the technical scope definition, repair methodology, and engineering coordination for power transformer repair projects within the service factory. Acts as the main technical interface between the customer, design teams, commercial team and the workshop, ensuring that repair scopes, inspections, and variation orders are aligned with standards, customer requirements, and internal capabilities.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform technical assessment and inspection of incoming transformers, prepare inspection reports, define repair and refurbishment scope
  • Prepare technical documentation for repair offers, including variation orders, work scopes, and technical clarifications to the customer
  • Review and interpret customer specifications, drawings, and test results to define repair methodology
  • Support manufacturing and testing engineers with technical inputs and guidance during the execution phase and ensure compliance with technical requirements
  • Lead the coordination of technical discussions between engineering, quality, sourcing, and production teams
  • Ensure that technical decisions are in compliance with applicable standards (IEC, IEEE, etc.) and internal quality procedures
  • Prepare technical summaries and feedback reports for lessons learned and future reference
  • Act as a key contributor in troubleshooting and defining preventive actions based on factory experiences
  • Provide on-demand support for customer visits, technical presentations, factory inspections, and technical audits
  • Ensure proper documentation and archiving of repair procedures, test data, and engineering records
  • Provide technical support to Field Service, Spare Parts and Sales teams when required

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electrical & electronic engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in power transformer design, manufacturing, test, field or repair engineering
  • Strong verbal and written skills in English and Turkish
  • Familiarity with IEC/IEEE transformer standards
  • MS Office tools and technical reporting
  • Willing to work at Gebze plant at least 4 days per week
  • Ability to live in Istanbul & Kocaeli​
