WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
As financial markets continue to evolve, the accuracy and reliability of risk analytics become increasingly important for our clients. To support our continued global growth, we are looking for a Lead Service Delivery Consultant with deep financial domain knowledge to join our Axioma Managed Services team.
In this role, you will act as an investment risk data operations consultant ensuring that our multi-asset class platform’s institutional investor clients receive accurate, timely risk analytics and data services they can depend on.
You will work closely with technology solutions consultants, product managers, engineers, market data analysts and clients in an international and highly collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to apply deep expertise in financial analytics and risk modelling at scale — shaping how complex data solutions are delivered to some of the world's leading financial institutions, and directly improving the quality, reliability, and evolution of the analytics they depend on.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
The Lead Service Delivery Consultant will be joining a highly productive entrepreneurial team, itself part of a global organization, supporting SimCorp's AxiomaRisk clients within the Axioma Managed Services department.
Serve as the first point of escalation for complex instrument modelling/discrepancies, and risk analytics output issues, performing thorough root cause analysis
Own end-to-end analytics generation for assigned clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to SLAs across asset classes including equities, fixed income, OTC derivatives, and structured products
Monitor daily operational health across assigned client workflows, early identifying and addressing risks before they impact service delivery
Partner with Product Specialists, Technology Solutions, Engineering teams on escalating client inquiries and managing client communications.
Identify process gaps and drive automation and improvement initiatives that reduce manual effort and operational risk across the team
Create, maintain and evolve SOPs and runbooks to reflect current workflows, ensuring documentation is accurate
Support UAT testing activities for product features and changes impacting Managed Services operations
WHAT WE VALUE
8–10 years of experience in financial data operations, managed services, or a related field within the financial services or investment management industry
Good understanding of financial instruments across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, OTC derivatives (FX Forwards, Interest Rate Swaps), and structured products
Practical experience with risk analytics platforms and familiarity with how portfolio-level risk calculations are generated and delivered to clients
Experience with analytics data quality frameworks and complex exception handling workflows
Experience working directly with clients in a service delivery context, with effective written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficiency in SQL and Python (or equivalent scripting tools) for data manipulation, analysis, and automation
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team spread across multiple time zones and mindset oriented towards continuous improvement
ADDITIONAL VALUABLE SKILLS
Prior experience working with AxiomaRisk or SimCorp Dimension
FRM, CFA, or equivalent professional certification (completed or in progress)
Knowledge of performance attribution or factor-based risk modelling methodologies
