Position Title: Lead Dining Room Server- Full-Time

Schedule: Full-time - Non-Exempt
Position Reports To: Culinary Director
Pay Range: $17.50 to $18.50 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Lead Dining Room Server:
- Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
- Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
- Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
- Lead and support the dining room team during assigned shifts while ensuring exceptional service for residents and guests.
- Assign server stations, side work, and daily work assignments to dining room staff.
- Coordinate resident and guest seating to ensure efficient and timely service.
- Assist with training, coaching, and mentoring new and existing dining room team members.
- Monitor dining room operations and ensure Community service standards are consistently met.
- Serve as the point person in the absence of the Dining Room Manager by assisting with shift operations and problem resolution.
- Maintain accurate meal counts, reservations, and additional charges using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Communicate dining room concerns, staffing needs, and resident requests to Dining Services leadership.
- Monitor dining room supplies and report equipment or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
- Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year of serving experience in a restaurant, country club, hotel, senior living community, or similar hospitality environment preferred.
- Previous Lead Server or Trainer experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to train, coach, and support team members.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
