Job Description

As a Lead Semiconductor Project Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing semiconductor projects that drive innovation and success within our Industrial Automation business. You will oversee project activities from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with strategic goals.

You will report directly to our Director ISC Operations and you’ll work out of our Richardson, TX location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the successful execution of complex semiconductor projects, enabling Honeywell Industrial Automation to deliver cutting-edge technologies that enhance safety, sustainability, and productivity for our customers worldwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the overall device qualification program for the conversion of semiconductor manufacturing from 150mm to 200mm wafers, ensuring qualification activities are completed on schedule and meet quality, technical, and customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain the master project schedule, coordinating qualification milestones, engineering activities, factory readiness, customer deliverables, and production transition requirements.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across Process Engineering, Test, Quality, Manufacturing, Equipment, Product Engineering, Operations, and other functional teams to ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
  • Own project risk management, identifying technical, schedule, resource, and manufacturing risks; developing mitigation plans; and escalating issues when required.
  • Coordinate device qualification activities, ensuring required data, documentation, testing, and approvals are completed in accordance with internal and customer requirements.
  • Serve as the primary project communication lead, providing clear and timely status, risks, decisions, and milestone updates from executive leadership through engineering and factory teams.
  • Coordinate communication with downstream package assembly and test facilities, ensuring alignment on qualification schedules, material requirements, technical issues, and production readiness.
  • Manage customer communication and expectations, providing project updates, coordinating qualification requirements, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer commitments are clearly understood and met.
  • Facilitate project reviews and decision-making, establishing action items, owners, and due dates while maintaining accountability across participating organizations.
  • Drive successful project completion and production transition, ensuring qualification objectives are achieved, open issues are resolved, documentation is complete, and the 200mm manufacturing capability is ready for sustained production

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in semiconductor project management or related roles.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor design, manufacturing processes, and quality control to effectively manage technical project aspects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies to develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ability to manage risks, resolve complex issues, and drive project teams towards successful delivery.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and communicating project status to stakeholders.
