We’re looking for a Lead Theatre Practitioner to join our Liver and Complex Surgery team at The Wellington Hospital. As the UK’s largest private hospital, The Wellington Hospital is recognised for delivering highly specialised care across a broad range of surgical specialties, including hepatobiliary and liver surgery, neurosurgery, cardiac care, spinal surgery and orthopaedics. The hospital operates across multiple sites with an extensive theatre complex and advanced surgical technology, creating an environment where clinical excellence, innovation and collaboration are part of everyday practice. The hospital is rated Outstanding for Surgery by the CQC.
As a Lead Theatre Practitioner within our liver and complex surgery service, you’ll be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team delivering care for some of the most complex surgical patients in the independent sector. Working within our busy theatre environment, you’ll play a key role in supporting clinical excellence, driving high standards of patient care and providing leadership to colleagues. This is an opportunity to further develop your expertise in advanced surgical procedures, including robotic surgery, while working alongside experienced clinicians committed to continuous learning, innovation and outstanding patient outcomes. With 11 theatres across three buildings and a strong culture of professional development, you’ll be supported to grow your leadership skills and expand your clinical knowledge.
