Job Description

As the Lead - SAP, you will be at the forefront of technical development, guiding and mentoring a team of ABAP professionals. Your expertise in SAP S/4HANA technologies and ABAP development will be pivotal in driving successful SAP implementations, rollouts, migrations, and enhancements. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with functional consultants and business stakeholders, and a commitment to delivering high-quality SAP solutions.

• Lead and manage a team of ABAP developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, and implement SAP solutions using ABAP development skills and SAP S/4HANA technologies.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices in ABAP development.
• Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Lead SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and enhancement projects, ensuring timely delivery.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and drive innovation within the team.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP systems and applications.
• Document and maintain technical specifications, ensuring knowledge transfer and knowledge base updates.

• Minimum 8 years of experience in ABAP development, with a strong background in SAP S/4HANA technologies.
• Proven experience in leading and managing ABAP development teams.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies and best practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
• Proficiency in ABAP development, including OOPs concepts, ABAP Core Data Services (CDS), and SAPUI5.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA migration and upgrade projects is highly desirable.
• Good understanding of SAP architecture and integration with other systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive and innovative approach to SAP development and a commitment to continuous learning.
