We’re looking for a Lead, Sales and Product Development - Industrialto join our sales team at our head office located in Vernon, British Columbia Our Vernon office houses Tolko’s corporate services groups including Sales, Marketing & Logistics, Finance, Accounting & Credit, IT, Procurement, and Human Resources.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in wood product sales.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field.
  • Proven customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer-based analytical and financial skills.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, resourcefulness and creativity
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Resourceful team player with ability to be independently effective
  • Thorough knowledge of wood product manufacturing is considered an asset.

In this role you will:

  • Drive demand and market pull‑through for Tolko‑branded products.
  • Influence key supply‑chain decision makers to secure new accounts and growth
  • Build and optimize high‑performing third‑party remanufacturing partnerships to support supply, efficiency, and value.
  • Act as a trusted, solutionsfocused liaison between customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Support the development and rollout of sales and marketing materials that strengthen the Tolko brand.
  • Conduct Industrials market research, including customer needs, product trends, and competitive activity.
  • Represent the Tolko brand in a professional manner.
  • Translate market insights into clear, actionable guidance for sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Track competitor performance and recommend datadriven responses
  • Communicate customer and market opportunities across Tolko to enable timely execution.
  • Oversee and coordinate thirdparty remanufacturing partners to meet cost, quality, reliability, and service expectations.
  • Ensure disciplined followup and issue resolution to maintain operational performance.
  • Travel extensively to support customer engagement, partner oversight, and market development
