Job Title: Reservations Lead Sales Agent
Job Pay Range: $21.00/ hr.

As a member of the Reservation team, you will work to maximize the occupancy of the hotel by using specific selling strategies to convert incoming calls into bookings. You get to help guide our future guests with finding the best accommodations for them and their stay with us. From rooms and suites to cottages and wilderness properties, we assist in painting the picture for the guests on the phones.

What you will be doing:
This role will be responsible for assisting our guests in booking their stays and creating memories for them. You will be able to set and meet sales goals and learn about Navis and how we collect data to continue to generate new business. We send emails to guests providing information on the resort and assist with any future guests’ requests on rooms, dining, spa, and golf. In Room Reservations we book packages for our guests and rooms of our group travelers
• Inputs detailed computer data
• Proofreads outgoing confirmations
• Answers telephones, closes the sale on new reservations, makes changes to existing reservations, and deals with a multitude of customer questions
• Sells hotel gift certificates
• Sells transportation reservations
• Sells dining, golf, and spa reservations
• Meets sales goals
• Faxes and e-mails guests
• Fulfills brochure requests
• Mails out (and stuffs) confirmations
• Advanced knowledge of hotel offerings to meet and exceed goals
• Adheres to all Forbes Five Star, AAA Five Diamond, and Preferred Hotel standards
• Effectively uses website to maximize sales
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

What we are looking for:
If you are a positive person who likes to assist people with a smile you might be the perfect fit. We work as a team to learn a vast knowledge on the resort, sales skills and completing daily tasks.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience working in luxury resort reservations department preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) with a work environment that may be indoors and outdoors at times
• Ability to uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
