Job Description

Seeking a Lead Restoration Technician with fire, water, and mold restoration experience for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Lakeway, TX.

Working Location Greater Austin, TX. area
Pay Range: $26hr - $36hr (based on experience)
Base hours/Schedule: M - F, 8am - 5pm, +OT (also on-call rotation)

Responsibilities:

• Perform water, fire, and mold restoration services in residential and commercial environments
• Lead or assist crews on mitigation and restoration projects
• Communicate professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, and team members
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
• Document job details, moisture readings, photos, and project updates using industry software
• Set up and monitor drying equipment and containment systems
• Maintain clean and organized job sites, vehicles, and equipment
• Participate in rotating on-call/weekend coverage schedules
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of restoration experience in water, fire, or mold remediation
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to build rapport with customers and represent the company professionally
• Ability to work independently and lead projects or crews when needed
• Experience with restoration software platforms including MICA/Mitigate, Xactimate, DASH, and/or Contents Track
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Non-smoking workplace compliance

Preferred Certifications

• WTR (Water Damage Restoration Technician)
• MRS (Mold Remediation Specialist)
• FSRT (Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician)
