Responsibilities
- Lead project teams, define guidelines, and allocate tasks across functions
- Provide constructive performance feedback for assigned team members
- Develop and advise on project plans covering scope, financials, scheduling, and risk
- Ensure project execution follows client required processes and best practices
- Track progress and optimize resources to meet milestones
- Coordinate product fabrication with internal partners and remote factories
- Witness and Factory Acceptance testing of GIS (Gas insulated switchgear) equipment
- Manage financials, including invoicing, cost control, and cash flow
- Identify and act on project risks, opportunities, and lessons learned
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, advanced degree or PMP a plus
- Ten (10) to Fifteen (15) years of experience with transmission and substation projects.
- Skills shall include design, engineering project management & construction experience
- This position requires experience with Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substations as well as air insulated substations and high voltage apparatus / equipment
- Proven experience and success as a Project Manager for accident-free design, manufacture, delivery, installation, construction, start up, commissioning and testing of HV & EHV transmission substations
- Ability to lead collaborative teams including EOC’s, OE’s, PMs and SME’s
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong computer proficiency
- Demonstrated negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% as needed
