
Lead Registered Vascular Technologist is responsible for coordinating the vascular schedule and managing the schedule. Will be able to troubleshoot equipment and communicate with representatives as needed.
Vascular Technologists assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of disorders affecting the vascular system. Vascular technologists perform noninvasive vascular exams in order to assess for vascular disease or disorders Vascular technologists work with a high level of independence. The vascular sonographer is responsible for providing patient care and safety throughout the exam. The sonographer should know how to respond appropriately in emergencies.
Minimum Education
Associates degree or medical diploma or certificate required
Bachelors preferred
Minimum Work Experience
Experience performing vascular exams
Required Licenses
Cardiovascular Technologist and Technician
Registered Vascular Technologist
BLS Certification
Compliance with Continuing Education Requirements
