Job Description Summary

At GE Vernova, quality is embedded in every process, product, and project we deliver. As the Lead Quality Specialist - Business Process Management, you will lead a team responsible for defining, developing, and deploying ERP solutions that support Manufacturing Quality across the full product lifecycle, from Incoming Quality Control through Green-Tag and shipment. You will define the strategy for quality-related ERP processes and data, ensuring that our systems strengthen product quality, compliance, and decision-making. Working closely with business stakeholders, Digital Technology (DT), and other ERP module owners, you will help build a cohesive, integrated ERP solution that improves operational performance and supports our broader digital transformation.

Job Description

What You'll Do

  • Define the Manufacturing Quality ERP strategy: Establish the vision, roadmap, and priorities for quality-related ERP capabilities, including process standardization, data collection, system compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and develop team: Manage a team, set priorities, coordinate activities, and support professional development to ensure effective delivery of objectives.
  • Oversee end-to-end quality process solutions: Define and deploy ERP capabilities covering the full manufacturing quality lifecycle, from Incoming Quality Control and inspection through Green-Tag release and shipment, ensuring appropriate data collection, traceability, and process integration.
  • Develop quality management workflows: Establish and improve ERP frameworks for non-conformance reporting (NCR), escalation, concessions, deviations, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA), ensuring consistent workflows, approvals, documentation, and accountability. The role focuses on defining and deploying the supporting tools, not executing individual quality cases.
  • Drive quality analytics and reporting: Lead the development of dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that provide visibility into quality performance, highlight trends, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Deploy AI-enabled quality capabilities: Identify and implement opportunities for AI-supported validation and real-time data checks to improve data quality, detect inconsistencies, and strengthen compliance with business rules.
  • Ensure solution integrity and compliance: Ensure that ERP quality solutions meet business and quality requirements, with appropriate data validation, access controls, audit trails, and governance.
  • Drive cross-functional ERP collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, DT teams, and other ERP module owners, including Finance and Sourcing, to align requirements, manage dependencies, and deliver a cohesive end-to-end solution.
  • Build alignment and secure decisions: Present ERP proposals, business cases, and improvement plans to the ERP Control Board, clearly communicating business value, risks, priorities, and expected benefits to gain stakeholder support.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide digital initiatives: Represent Manufacturing Quality in corporate programs, including end-to-end data lake development and enterprise data governance, while identifying opportunities to simplify processes and improve the value delivered by ERP solutions.

What You'll Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in ERP systems (Oracle and/or MS Dynamics preferred), including solution design, configuration, integration, and deployment.
  • Experience translating business requirements into ERP solutions, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing quality processes, including inspection, quality control data, non-conformance management, concessions, deviations, and product release.
  • Experience leading a team or coordinating complex projects, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver results.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to work across business and technology teams and present proposals to decision-making bodies.

Preferred:

  • Experience with quality-related functionality in a major ERP platform, such as SAP, and familiarity with MRP and manufacturing execution processes.
  • Experience developing quality dashboards, KPIs, and analytics solutions using ERP data and business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled validation, automated data quality checks, or AI integration into enterprise systems.
  • Experience with enterprise data lakes, data governance, or large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
