Job Title:

Lead Quality Lab Technician - 2nd Shift, 2 pm to 10 pm/Mon-Fri

The Role:

Entegris is currently seeking a Lead Quality Lab Technician – 2nd Shift (2pm to 10pm) to join our CMP Pads team. This position will be based in our Aurora, IL facility.

In this role, you willbe responsible forthe analyticalinspection and testing of incoming materials, intermediates, experimental and final products, providedaily assignments for Quality Lab Technicians,and support the supervisorinachievingthe quality laband site goalsYou will have the opportunity to be part of a focused and talented teamwhosupportour growing CMP Pads business

WhatYou’llDo

• Maintain and model a safe and clean work environment, and contribute to EHS and plant initiatives

• Understand and adhere to Entegris values, procedures, and policies

• Perform analytical, physical, and visual tests on product for production, development, R&D, materials engineering, and on customer return samples 

• Enter data intoLaboratory Information Management System; recognize and address deviations or non-conformances in products, instruments, and quality standards 

• Verify and/or calibrate all test equipment by manufacturing recommendations and test methods to ensure data integrity and adherence to ISO9001 standard 

• Leaddaily shift meetings toupdateprogress toward metrics; responsible for providinginformation,prioritizationand dailywork assignments for Quality Lab Technicians

• Assistsupervisor infacilitatinglabandsiteequipment calibrationprogramandmaintaininglab supply inventory

• Provide trainingto otherson quality lab testing and procedures and provide performance feedback to supervisor as needed

• Participate in planning,execution, and data review forthe Measurement System Analysis program for the site

• Analyze data or trends and prepare reports for communication to internal stakeholders 

• Create Certificates of Analysis for product shipping to customer 

• Participate in the maintenance of current lab work instructions andassistin the development of new methods and instructions for the quality lab team 

• Identifyand support continuous improvement projects under guidance from lab supervisor

• Troubleshoot lab equipment of varying complexity, including working with vendors as needed  

• Communicate effectively with other team members to promote a safe, positive, and productive working environment  

WhatWeSeek

• Bachelor’sdegree ina technicaldiscipline (i.e.Chemistry, Biology, etc.) 

• 3+years experienceworking in a quality lab, preferably within a manufacturing environment

• Statistical software (JMP, Minitab)experience,Six Sigma Green BeltCertification preferred

• Proficient with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams)

• Demonstrated ability to train and communicate well with others, andwork in a fast-paced environment

• Requires manual lifting of up to 40 lbs. when needed, regularlyrequiredto stand, kneel, or crouch, sit, walk and on occasion climb or balance

• Overtime may berequired, as per business needs

Opening for2ndShift:

• Monday - Friday2:00pm–1000pm(overtime may be required, as per business needs)

• Weekend shifts will vary when needed
