Lead Qualifier – AU Transport & Logistics Industry (Remote)

Work From Home | Full-Time | AU Hours | PH-Based

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Qualifier to support an Australian transport and logistics business in identifying, qualifying, and nurturing sales opportunities.

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in the Australian transport, freight, warehousing, logistics, or 3PL industry, with excellent communication skills and confidence in speaking with decision-makers and qualifying leads.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Qualification & Prospecting

  • Qualify inbound and outbound transport/logistics leads
  • Engage with business owners, operations managers, warehouse managers, and procurement teams
  • Identify customer freight requirements, transport needs, and operational pain points
  • Assess lead quality and suitability based on business requirements
  • Book qualified appointments for the sales team

Outbound Calling & Follow-Up

  • Conduct outbound calls and lead follow-ups
  • Re-engage dormant leads and existing databases
  • Maintain ongoing communication with prospects throughout the sales cycle
  • Handle objections professionally and confidently

CRM & Pipeline Management

  • Update CRM systems accurately with notes, call outcomes, and follow-up actions
  • Track lead progression and maintain organised sales pipelines
  • Generate daily and weekly activity reports

Industry Coordination

  • Understand Australian freight terminology, transport workflows, and logistics operations
  • Coordinate with internal operations and sales teams regarding customer requirements
  • Support quoting and information gathering where required

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Lead Qualification, Sales Support, Customer Service, or Internal Sales
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Australian transport, freight, logistics, warehousing, or 3PL businesses
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Freight & transport operations
    • Warehousing & distribution
    • Pallets, cartons, containers, and dispatch workflows
    • Australian logistics terminology
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Strong phone confidence and objection-handling skills
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable remote work setup and internet connection

Highly Preferred

  • Experience in:
    • 3PL logistics
    • Linehaul or courier operations
    • Freight forwarding
    • Transport coordination
    • Warehouse dispatch
  • Experience using:
    • MachShip
    • Salesforce
    • HubSpot
    • Zoho CRM
  • Experience booking appointments for BDMs or Account Managers
  • Knowledge of Australian transport pricing structures and freight movements
