How will you make an impact?

The Lead Qualification Representative (LQR) plays a critical role in connecting marketing initiatives with sales execution across the Genetics Science Division (GSD). As a member of the North America commercial team, you will engage prospective and existing customers generated through marketing campaigns and data-driven initiatives, qualify opportunities, and help accelerate pipeline growth.

In this role, you will serve as an important link between Marketing, Sales, and our customers by identifying customer needs, qualifying opportunities, and ensuring leads are routed to the appropriate commercial resources. You will also leverage customer interactions and campaign performance data to provide actionable insights that help improve marketing effectiveness and customer engagement.

Success in this role requires strong communication skills, curiosity, analytical thinking, and a customer-first mindset. While this position includes opportunities to quote and close smaller sales opportunities, its primary focus is creating qualified pipeline and delivering an outstanding customer experience

What will you do?

  • Makenumerousoutreach to customers that have responded to a marketing tactic.

  • Loosely follow a script,in a timely manner, todetermineif a customer is interested infollowup from salesor to nurture the contact further along in the buyers journey.

  • Track calls/contacts and continue toattemptlivecontact a pre-determined number of times beforedesignatinglead as abandoned.

  • Close out call disposition after a live contact by either, marking as not interested orcreatea sales opportunity in the CRM database.

  • Manage incoming leads on an ongoing basis.

  • Refercustomerto various customer support teams if an issue isidentifiedor if a new account needs to be created.

  • Work with program/product managers to gain an understanding of the product(s)in order tohave an educated conversation with the customer.

  • Provide comprehensive andtimelyreports on program metrics and customer feedback for program stakeholders.

  • Update andmaintaina complete dashboard of all active/completed/terminatedprograms.

  • Able to liaise well between our commercial (sales) teams and marketing teams to offer theappropriate insightinto effective programs. 



REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or a related scientific discipline is required.
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, inside sales, lead qualification, sales support, or related commercial roles

  • Demonstrated expertise in market analysis and competitive intelligence gathering
  • •Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with content management systems and digital marketing platforms
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Collaborative skills for working with cross-functional teams
  • Self-directed with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of scientific terminology and laboratory techniques
  • Business-level English required; additional language skills valuable
  • Travel up to 25% as needed

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $72,600.00–$96,000.00.
