Lead Property Inspector
Location: Fort Stewart, GA
Type: Non-Exempt
Work Schedule:
Compensation: $23.95-$23.95/hr

Tessera is seeking a passionate and supportive Lead Property Inspector with a helpful attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform all duties of the Property Inspector.
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of Property Inspectors.
- Develop and manage annual and monthly inspection schedules to ensure completion of all assigned inspections by required deadlines.
- Monitor inspection of production rates and progress against contract objectives.
- Review inspection data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with AR 405-45 requirements.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of facility inspection records and GFEBS entries.
- Ensure maintenance of accurate real property files and hand receipt records.
- Prepare and submit inspection status reports and performance metrics.
- Track progress of annual inventory validation requirements across all assigned facilities.
- Identify data discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to Property Inspectors regarding inspection procedures, GFEBS processes, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with DPW representatives and facility stakeholders regarding inspection activities.
- Ensure compliance with key control procedures and accountability requirements.
- Assist management with staffing priorities, workload distribution, and process improvements.
- Support audit readiness efforts and compliance with CFOA requirements.
Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of real property management in government preferred; specialized vocational, technical, or other formal training may be substituted in part for experience.
- Strong knowledge of AR 405-45 and Army real property inventory requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of GFEBS reporting and data management functions.
- Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Knowledge of CFOA audit requirements and real property accountability standards.
- Working knowledge of work areas at PSNS, including waterfront areas is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
- Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
- Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
- A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
