Adani Buildcast Adani Buildcast is revolutionizing the construction ecosystem by bringing speed, precision, and sustainability to infrastructure development. Through advanced precast technologies, integrated design solutions, and stringent quality standards, we are redefining how India builds. Our goal is to deliver high-performance structures that combine engineering excellence with environmental responsibility—enhancing productivity, reducing timelines, and ensuring long-term durability. Adani Precast stands at the forefront of industrialized construction, shaping the future of modern infrastructure.

Job Purpose: Project Planning & Control Lead is responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling all project activities related to precast production, logistics, and on-site integration, ensuring that schedules, costs, and resource allocations are optimized for timely delivery. The role acts as the central link between production, design, procurement, and site teams, driving coordination, risk management, and performance tracking to achieve seamless execution of projects.

Project Schedule Planning:

Develop comprehensive project execution schedules that integrate all precast phases including mold preparation, casting cycles, curing, finishing, transport, and on-site erection.

Apply critical path methodology and advanced scheduling software to accurately sequence tasks, account for dependencies, and build buffers where necessary.

Continuously track progress against milestones and proactively adjust the schedule when delays or unforeseen issues arise to protect the overall project timeline.

Capacity Planning:

Work closely with the production head to analyze factory throughput, mold utilization rates, curing bed availability, manpower productivity, and equipment readiness.

Forecast upcoming requirements of raw materials, specialized molds, and transportation resources well in advance, aligning procurement and logistics to ensure smooth continuity of work.

Balance competing project priorities by reallocating shared resources, negotiating with stakeholders, and ensuring that capacity constraints are managed without compromising delivery commitments.

Budget Management:

Collaborate with finance and production teams to prepare realistic project budgets that capture direct costs (raw materials, molds, labor, transport) and indirect costs (overheads, contingencies, storage).

Establish regular monitoring mechanisms such as variance analysis reports and cost dashboards to track actual expenditure versus planned budgets.

Risk Management:

Identify risks across multiple dimensions:

technical (design changes, mold failures), operational (machine breakdowns, curing inconsistencies), logistical (transport delays, road restrictions), and external (regulatory approvals, weather conditions).

Maintain a dynamic risk register, update likelihood and impact scores regularly, and design contingency plans such as alternate suppliers, backup molds, or revised delivery schedules.

Provide early warnings to senior management on high-probability risks and actively lead cross-functional problem-solving sessions to mitigate disruptions before they escalate.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Act as the central coordinator between production, engineering, procurement, logistics, site teams, and client representatives to ensure alignment of priorities and shared understanding of schedules.

Facilitate regular project review meetings where status updates, bottlenecks, and corrective actions are discussed and documented for accountability.

Maintain transparent communication by issuing formal progress reports, dashboards, and updates to all stakeholders, minimizing misunderstandings and ensuring that project objectives remain synchronized.

Continuous Improvement:

Establish structured systems for capturing project data such as production output, defect rates, on-time deliveries, and site erection performance, ensuring data accuracy and traceability.

Translate raw data into actionable insights by generating detailed reports for senior management, highlighting trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for efficiency.

Lead post-project evaluation sessions, document lessons learned, and recommend changes to planning methodologies, scheduling tools, or coordination practices, ensuring each subsequent project benefits from continuous improvement.

Brand Positioning:

Ensure Adani's brand values are shown in all interactions.

Strengthen relationships to boost the organization's brand and trust within the market and company.

Team Development:

Build a high-performing team. Set clear KPIs, track progress, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
