The Lead Project Manager will be based in the field, as a remote worker. This is a critical and demanding position, works across the project services lifecycle, for controlling the delivery and profitability of our projects to the ultimate goals of enhancing our customer satisfaction and supporting adoption. This role ensures that our customer solutions are delivered to the highest Cohesity standards and that we therefore delight our customers.

The Lead Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects within the Professional Services Consulting Team. He/she is expected to interface between our PMO, Delivery Manager, Architects, Consultants, Sales teams and Business Partners, to consistently achieve and exceed our goals. The Project Manager manages planning, execution and projects closure within scope, timeline and budget. This includes project delivery engagements and delivering against customer requirements and expectations.

It is essential to possess strong and proven relationship, communication and organizational skills at all levels, a demonstrable “can do it, whatever it takes” attitude and possess a track record of successful project management in technology andor advisory Services related organizations.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the customer with regards to the Services’ projects
  • Identifying and tracking consultant and subcontractor availability
  • Providing real-time Project Management and reporting to all stakeholders
  • Providing ongoing engagement direction to internal delivery resources and/or subcontractors
  • Providing the revenue and cost forecast for the assigned projects in our corporative tool
  • Providing revenues and costs waterfall figures for the projects assigned
  • Ensure the projects are delivered aligned with the scope of work, timelines and its financials
  • Ensure Architects/Consultants timecards entries are in line with the project budget
  • Ensuring consistent internal Consultant allocation, according to targets
  • Work in conjunction with the technical delivery team for assigning the right resource at the right time aligned with the scope of work
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate and lead project team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation plans
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability
  • Manage multiple projects with different sizes and complexities
  • Manage internal / external stakeholders during escalations with effective communications, sense of urgency and minimal time to resolution approach
  • Provide a proper closure of project to customers and internal teams
  • Ensure risks and issues are addressed in a timely manner and with a proper plan in place
  • Monitoring and reporting Customer Satisfaction

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Open mindset, “can do” and “do whatever it takes” attitude and approach to working practices and demands of the business
  • Bachelor's Degree and technical background
  • Languages: fluent English + Italian or Spanish mandatory
  • Proven experience in IT solution implementation
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in IT
  • Able to work independently and run projects with low or no intervention
  • Very good communication and presentation skills (verbal/written/presentation)
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn and adapt in dynamic and international environments
  • Evidence of trusted relationship building at all levels
  • Management of project delivery resources
  • Problem-solving attitude with proven good escalations management
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Creativity to obtain solutions to complex problems
  • Exercising independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • European citizenship required

SKILLS DESIRED

  • Languages: An additional European language on top of the 2 mandatory above (preferences are French, Spanish, Italian)
  • Prince2/PMP or equivalent certification (nice to have)
  • 7 years of experience in project management in IT Services
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office. Usage of AI for the role
  • Ability to learn best practices and implement those into their day-to-day activities
  • Ability to travel- if needed
  • Management of customer, including a level of commercial responsibility and scope control
  • Definition and ownership of the delivery methodology for the project
  • Ability to adapt to new and varied situations
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other members of the Consulting Services Organization, Technical Services, and Sales
  • Can prioritize a heavy workload to meet both short term and long-term objectives
  • Changes or expands existing solution requirements with customer executive decision makers
  • Ability to manage expectations with multiple stakeholders, with conflicting priorities
  • Ability to influence peers and Cohesity leadership
  • Manage complexities that require a high level of negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
  • Positions change orders with customer stakeholders
  • Diagnoses/establishes the potential value & risks associated with solving engagement related issues
  • Demonstrates the ability to manipulate and interpret data to understand or share information about business initiatives with internal team members and customers alike
  • Very detail oriented with the ability to effectively organize large amounts of information
