Lead Project Manager – OHL / Substation (Contract: 6–12 Months)

Project Mobilisation: Summer 2026
We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager with a strong background in Overhead Lines (OHL) and/or Substation projects to join our team on an interim basis for an initial 6‑ to 12‑month period. This role provides continuity and leadership on major transmission programmes while recruitment for a permanent position is underway.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide senior project leadership across major electrical transmission works.
• Lead the delivery planning and execution of a new 400kV GIS substation build.
• Manage governance, cost, schedule, risk, and reporting activities in alignment with internal processes and HV procedures.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
• Support mobilisation activities in preparation for construction starting in summer 2026.
• Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills & Experience Required
• Proven experience working at a Lead Project Manager level within the high‑voltage transmission environment.
• Strong knowledge of 275kV-400kV systems, governance, and HV project processes.
• Technical background in OHL or substation engineering and construction, ideally including GIS‑based substations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder‑management, and coordination abilities.
• Comfortable working across both site‑based and office‑based environments.
