Deloitte Malta is currently seeking to recruit a Lead Project Manager to join its D elivery Excellence team

How you will Make an Impact

• PMO Setup & Governance: Design, implement and drive the PMO framework, policies, methodologies, and tools to ensure consistent project execution aligned with industry standards (e.g., Agile).
• Leadership & People Management: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, coordinating workloads, development plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Project Delivery: Oversee the execution of multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, timeliness, and budget discipline.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong, transparent relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, engineering teams, and clients.
• Strategic Alignment: Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring all projects advance the company’s strategic and operational objectives.
• Risk & Change Management: Establish risk management and change control frameworks to maintain project stability while responding effectively to evolving business needs.
• Reporting & Metrics: Develop and maintain project dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
• Process Optimization: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by reviewing project outcomes, identifying lessons learned, and refining methodologies.

• Improved organizational efficiency, visibility, and decision-making through standardized processes and performance reporting

Your Specialized skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• 5+ years of proven experience in project management, preferably within software development or IT environments.
• Demonstrated success in establishing and leading a PMO or similar project management function.
• Exceptional understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, etc).
• Strong financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and project cost control.
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proven leadership, people management, and negotiation abilities.
