• At our Changshu plant in China, we specialize in the manufacturing of essential products for dialysis therapy, including dialyzers, Sterile Solutions, bloodline sets, HD machines, injection and extrusion components. Lead Project Engineer-Job Description

1) Main tasks:

Tasks performed regularly, which form the essential characteristics of the position.

Strategic Leadership: Plan, execute, and lead complex cross-functional and cross-site production technology projects with global scope.

Technology Definition & Optimization: Contribute to the development and global rollout of standardized production technologies, tools, and best practices.

Project Oversight: Define scope, budgets (CAPEX), and milestones for high-stakes projects; ensure delivery through governance of multiple project teams.

Technical Authority: Conduct and lead feasibility studies, technical risk analyses, and cost-performance evaluations to enable sound project and investment decisions.

Stakeholder Management: Act as senior liaison across development, operations, quality, and regulatory affairs. Engage with executive leadership to align on goals.

Coaching & Capability Building: Mentor junior and mid-level engineers. Promote technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the organization.

Validation: supporting the validation activities if needed (e.g. writing protocols; execution of validation test series) in alignment with (local) validation experts

2) Secondary tasks:

Tasks performed regularly in addition to the main duties, but which do not determine the essential character of the position.

Support harmonization and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple global production sites.

Participate in supplier evaluations, audits, and technical design reviews.

Stay informed on emerging technologies and identify those with business and manufacturing value.

3) Miscellaneous tasks:

Tasks not performed regularly which are nevertheless a distinct part of the job, or special tasks / project work.

Any other various tasks required by projects or MTI activities in general

Contribute to global knowledge-sharing forums and technical working groups.

Represent the function in external technical discussions, including regulatory audits when delegated.
