Job Description

The Lead Project Analyst plays a critical role in driving the successful evaluation, planning, and execution of technology and business initiatives across the organization. This position serves as a strategic partner to stakeholders, project requestors, and technical teams, leading the analysis of software and operational improvement opportunities from concept through implementation. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong project management, business analysis, and communication skills who can balance multiple priorities while ensuring projects align with organizational goals, deliver measurable value, and achieve expected return on investment. As a leader within the PMO function, the Lead Project Analyst will facilitate cross-functional collaboration, monitor project performance, and provide guidance that supports effective decision-making and continuous improvement.

Primary Responsibilities /Accountabilities/ Essential Functions:

  • Review and document software requests through PMO platform

  • Evaluate project viability by research, collaboration, and policy review.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial data

  • Lead in conjunction with the GCE development team and other subject matter experts to analyze various projects

  • Lead meetings with requesters on project requests to notify business needs for the request

  • Ensure timelines are being met by managing and coordinating communicating with project requestors

  • Conduct regular project reviews and communicate the status of projects in both a formal and informal setting throughout the project lifecycle to all team members and stake holders

  • Coordinate software and hardware inventory management with Operations Supervisor as needed

  • Other duties as assigned.

Equipment Used and Responsibility

  • Able to identify and understand problems, and proposed solutions.

  • Strong Communication - verbal and written.

  • Understanding and able to determine return on investment (ROI).

  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Basic understanding of logistic management platforms.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Manage department direct reports.

Experience/ Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited college.

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating projects.

  • Demonstrated experience working with software/application implementation.

  • Demonstrated experience with RFP and RFQ development and delivery.

  • Demonstrated experience working within information technology or technology-driven work environments.

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background investigation.
