The Lead Production Cook is responsible for preparing a wide range of food items, including stocks, sauces, gravies, and soups, while ensuring all products meet established standards for quality, presentation, and timeliness. This position plays a key role in maintaining kitchen cleanliness, supporting operational efficiency, and fostering a Fun, Friendly, Quick, Comfortable, Clean, and Safe environment. The role also provides leadership and direction to kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
Prepare food items across multiple venues, ensuring consistency and quality.
Follow established standards for preparation, portioning, cooking, and presentation.
Ensure adherence to recipes and maintain timeliness of all food products.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen operations, equipment, and tools.
Promote a positive kitchen environment aligned with the Big Six principles.
Oversee and guide kitchen staff during production.
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 3 years of related cooking experience in a production or high‑volume environment.
Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
Capability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in environments that may include second‑hand smoke and crowd noise.
Leadership skills with the ability to guide and support other employees
