Job Description

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Lead Production. This position will be responsible for directing the safe and efficient operation of department, performing simple production operations. This position will also monitor and drive plant performance indicators and align priorities with production demand. This will be a weekend shift position: Friday – Sunday 5:00am – 5:00pm.

What you will be doing:

• Experience with special measuring devices, micrometer, calipers and tape measures.
• Experience managing and leading 10 + employees at a time.
• Have basic math and mechanical skills.
• Able to seamlessly train & show employees the safe and proper way to set and operate equipment on the mills.
• Needs to have flexibility with production hours.
• Be able to push through a project with dedication, quality, & consistency.
• Attention to detail.
• Daily problem solving.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level to facilitate and understand terminology of the job.
• Ability to follow and adhere to the dress code.
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.

The skills and experience you need:

• High school or equivalent
• 1+ years’ experience in tube mill and or roll forming process functions.
• 1 to 3 years involved with mill setups and manufacturing processes.
• Able to effectively manage people, personalities, and challenges.
• Able to efficiently meet negotiated timeframes to support customer demands in a simplified, organized, and effective manner.
• 5-S training is a plus.
• Lean training is a plus.
• Able to maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.
• Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
• Ability to communicate production needs with other support groups.

This role is located in Tulsa, OK.
