About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Product Manager to join the Consumer Banking and Lending Deposits Financial Product Team This team plays a critical role in shaping product value propositions and developing go‑to‑market strategies that drive customer acquisition, balance growth, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

As a key member of the Business Deposits Product Team, you will lead strategic growth initiatives and define the future‑state product vision for our business deposit offerings. You will be responsible for architecting and executing the next generation of business products, designing differentiated omni‑channel experiences, and delivering measurable business outcomes that create meaningful customer value.

In this role, you will:

  • Advise senior leadership on developing and influencing business strategies, business requirements, and product direction to meet complex business and technical needs.

  • Oversee end‑to‑end product management and strategic vision for highly technical, diverse, and enterprise‑wide products and services.

  • Lead strategy formulation and resolution of complex, enterprise‑level challenges by identifying opportunities, synergies, and cross‑organizational alignment.

  • Deliver innovative, long‑term, large‑scale solutions that account for global market trends, regulatory considerations, and enterprise risk management.

  • Provide vision, expertise, and guidance to leadership on designing and implementing strategic business solutions for Wells Fargo’s targeted product line.

  • Define and communicate product vision, set scope and priorities, manage the backlog, and establish goals to guide teams in designing, developing, and delivering future‑focused financial products.

  • Partner and collaborate with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum teams, project managers, and delivery partners across the organization.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, offering insights and direction on complex product and business decisions.


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Financial services experience with a strong business banking background, including product strategy, product development, and product management for business customers (<$25MM revenue), with expertise in deposit products.

  • Deep understanding of product and program management, including roadmap creation, strategic planning, and end‑to‑end lifecycle management—from ideation through market launch.

  • Demonstrated ability to design strategies and build deposit products and solutions tailored to business banking needs.

  • Strong relationship management, influencing, strategic visioning, and execution capabilities; effective working across executive leadership, channels, marketing, operations, and cross‑functional partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver clear, concise, and compelling executive‑level presentations that influence decision‑making and align senior stakeholders.

  • Proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders and deliver high‑impact, data‑driven presentations to senior leaders; skilled at influencing, educating, and aligning teams around a product vision.

  • Self‑starter with high energy, independence, and a track record of leading cross‑functional teams and delivering results.

  • Strong ability to assess market and competitive landscapes and develop innovative, customer‑focused solutions that enhance experiences and improve operational efficiency.

  • Exceptional organizational, coordination, and time‑management skills.

Job Expectations:

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay Range:

Minnesota: $119,000-$206,000 annually

Actual salary is determined by location, experience, and qualifications of the job.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
