What will I be doing?
The Lead Procurement Coordinator performs advanced purchasing and procurement work for the acquisition of goods and services in compliance with applicable laws, rules, policies, procedures, and best practices. This position requires deep knowledge of public procurement practices, strong research and writing skills, and the ability to lead complex procurements.
üHigh-level management and oversight of agency procurement activities utilizing varied best practice procurement methods, with a large focus on the Request for Proposal method
üReview and/or develop specifications/scope of work for agency solicitations
üDevelop complex requests for proposals and other solicitations and manage the solicitation through contract award
üProvide guidance and training to lower-level procurement team members
üBe the subject matter expert of the procurement process and ensure compliance with internal and external procurement policy, procedure, and regulations
üCollaborates in the evaluation and improvement of procurement procedures when necessary.
üPerform other related duties as required/assigned
Do you have…
üBachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study
ü5 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school, or in job-related duties
